Playing Catch Up

Back to Business

So here we go again. We haven't posted anything for a REALLY long time (like three months). So we will try to get back to it-especially since Darbee threatened to hack into our blog and post some for us. :)

Here the kids with their Great Grandma Spencer when she was here to visit earlier this year.

So here are a few things we have done lately that we have actually taken pictures of. The other day we had our friends Darbee, Briggs, and Belle over the play in our pool. Yes, I realize they are in the sandbox in this picture. They actually liked transporting water and/or sand back and forth between the sandbox and pool instead of actually just using one at a time. Oh Well! This is a cute picture of their backsides since they wouldn't look up!

Poor Wil! The older kids threw mud at him! But it made for a cute picture!

Well Bob is currently making a slide show of some of our latest pictures so we can really get caught up. We will post it soon!

Crazy Couple of Weeks

I haven't updated the blog for a while so I will do a quick recap if the last couple weeks. The first weekend in March we spent up at the Morley Family Cabin. We had a great weekend. Friday afternoon we meet Chantal's brother Rob his wife Clarissa and their two kids at the cabin. We brought our snowmobiles since that is the only way to access the cabin in the winter. Here are some pictures from that weekend.

The infamous Morley Cabin

Beautiful Heber Valley

Snow pilled on the deck from the roof.

Sydney thought it was awesome that she could almost climb onto the roof.

Paige, Sydney and Wil playing on the deck.

Sydney and Wil

Sydney, Wil and Kohl playing on the snowmobiles.

Sydney skiing!! Only her second time ever.

She didn't last long!!!

Two weeks ago we found out that Sadie Huish Chantal's niece has a brain tumor and it is inoperable. It has had a dramatic impact on Chantal and I. Sadie is only about 6 months older that Sydney. It is amazing how delicate our lives really are and unfortunately we take that for granted. Please think about that as you put your children to bed tonight and remember how blessed we are to have them in our lives.

I have put a link for Sadie's blog in our friends section. Her parent are using it to keep everyone up to date on her progress.
We are doing a 5K for Sadie if anyone is interested follow the link 5 for 5 in the Friends and Family section.

Check out these hats

Pumello, the hat fruit. The pumello is similar to a fruit we had on my mission and we called it the hat fruit. People in Taiwan showed us how to peel it and turn its rind into a hat.

February has been a busy month for our family. Chantal's grandma stayed with us for 2 weeks, which kept Chantal busy.

We had fun taking rides on the snowmobiles in the fields down the street from our house. Dad was a little tired since he had been snowmobiling all day.

What a Snow Storm!!!!

Sunday morning we woke up to a big surprise!

Sydney had great time playing in the snow.

Look at this Snow Plow!! Since our street usually doesn't get plowed for 2-3 days after a storm our neighbor Mark Hagen decided to put his tow truck to good use.
