TADAAA!

Okay, so we are really slow to post this but we have a baby!

Drew was born last Monday weighing in at a hefty 5 pounds 10 ounces and 18 inches long. Sydney loves his hands and feet and loves to hold his hand. Wil loves him too but he was a bit jealous when his grandmas were holding the baby and not him. There is no doubt that he is ours as he looks really similar to Wil when he was born. Here's some pictures. More to come soon!

We love you Sadie B!!!

Today was Sadie's funeral. What a tender and spiritual service. I have attached a couple pictures from the service. If you want to see more please go to searle.smugmug.com

Sadie loved rainbows and in Sadie's fashion as we released the balloons and everyone looked toward the sky. Someone noticed there was a rainbow around the sun.

Sadie

This morning we found out the sad news that my niece Sadie has passed away. Bob, the kids, and I were just there yesterday to visit her. I don't know what else to say except we are sad to see her go but glad she is free from her disease. There is a link to the left (Sadie Huish) to read the full story.

Grandpa Morley

On Sunday June 14th Grandpa Morley passed away. This past Monday was his funeral and it was a really nice day and wonderful that almost all the family was there except the cousins out on their missions. We will miss you grandpa but glad you were here with us for a wonderful 94 years.

Few Things to Catch up on

So Bob posted pictures of a few things we have been up to lately but missed a few things. So I thought I would fill in. First off we found out we are having a boy. Yay!

Second over Mother's Day Sydney broke her first (of probably several to come) broken bones. She was walking down the slide at my dad's house and Wil came behind her to slide down so she jumped off and broke her elbow. Hence a trip to the instacare on Mother's Day. As Bob pulled out of the garage to take her to the instacare she cried and said "This is the worse Mother's Day ever!". Here some pictures of her arm.

She even continued to play soccer wtih her cast on although we couldn't get her to really use it to her advantage :)

We also enjoyed Bob's brother's wedding. Congratulatoins Josh and Melissa!

Wil was a little pooped!

Sydney and daddy dancing

As soon as the wedding was over Sydney finally let people write on her cast. She started off by drawing a big U on it (which Bob had been trying to get Sydney to let him do since she got her cast on) Syd said she was trying to make it like the one on Josh Hawkins hat that he always wears. Then she let everyone left at the wedding sign her cast.

Bob also took a short trip to Moab but I will let him blog about that.

Grandma Spencers Trip

I know!!!! I am regularly chastised for not posting more on our blog. Needless to I am late at posting these pictures. In May we went to visit Chantal's Grandma Spencer in Hanford, CA. She moved there last summer from Spokane, WA to live closer to her daughter. We had a very exiting trip and had the opportunity to spend a day in Yosemite. Wow what a spectacular place. Her are just a few pictures from our expedition. For more pictures see our pictures at smugmug.com

My brother is starting the adoption process.

I just wanted to let everyone know that my brother Mat and his wife are starting the adoption process. From what I understand it is a very long and difficult process. One of the greatest tools, potential adoptive patents have is to network themselves. Allowing potential birth parents to hear about adoptive parents through someone they know. So I am posting their link here on our blog to help them out. If you know of anyone who might be looking for a family to place their child with, please send them to this website. https://www.beta.itsaboutlove.org/ial/profiles/22850888/ourMessage.jsf

Blog, Blog, Blog

Sorry we have been horrible at updating this blog. We have some good news!! We are expecting our 3rd child in September. Chantal started this blog at the first of this month but never got around to finishing it.

Things are going great. Sydney is playing indoor soccer again, but at least she is playing this year. Wil is talking up a storm. It is amazing how one day it just clicks and then you cant shut them up.
